50 Best in the Food World: Rendang at Rank 11. Who does not know rendang? Although known as the native cuisine of Padang, West Sumatra, rendang popular in almost all corners of the country. Food of beef mixed with dried coconut milk until it was no less popular in the neighboring country Malaysia.

Popularity is created clearly not separated from rendang flavor itself. Recently, rendang even entered at number 11 on the list of 50 most delicious food in the world, published by CNN. The order is based on a poll that they do on social networking sites.

Rendang is the only Indonesian origin food is included in the list. Beat Turkish Kebab delicacy, Lasagna Italian, Mexican Fajitas, or Pho Vietnam. However, rendang expressed less tasty than Malaysia's Penang Assam Laksa, Tom Yam Goong Thai, Peking Duck Chinese, Japanese or Sushi.

In Indonesia, rendang is not only a favorite restaurant while dining in Padang which mushroomed in the country. Rendang is also a favorite lunch when traveling far away, such as when on a pilgrimage. This is because the rendang including adequate food durable or long lasting.
